DataRobot is looking for a driven, focused, and high-impact Channel Account Manager with a strong understanding of Data Analytics products or enterprise- wide software technologies and value-driven sales. We're seeking someone experienced in kickstarting sophisticated channel (VARs and Resellers) partner selling motions with highly technical customers, C-Level individuals, and impactful decision-makers.

What does it take?

  • Build and drive sales plans for assigned VAR partners to meet and exceed sales pipeline goals through value selling.
  • Have a deep understanding of the partner's business, identify critical initiatives/opportunities, and engage with Partners Data Science, Product, and GTM teams to build compelling embed propositions and improve revenue for the partnership.
  • Identify, develop, and strengthen vital strategic relationships, including executive sponsors, practice leaders, and sales & pre-sales leaders.
  • Appropriately leverage DataRobot's internal Customer Facing Data Scientists & Practice build architects to demonstrate business value through technical proof of value sessions.
  • Maintain an understanding of key industry trends, competitive issues, and products.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, partner, customer, and support staff.
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and ace forecasts through salesforce.com
  • Build and manage champions within the assigned partner organizations
  • Drive regular cadence with the partner to supervise incremental progress/results.
  • Is this You?

  • You have proven experience selling Enterprise Software or understand the AI/ML ecosystem
  • Experienced in selling analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence software.
  • You have experience selling emerging technologies, winning new logos, and building territories.
  • You are trained in Solution/Value Selling Methodologies.
  • You have worked in a startup environment.
  • You have extensive experience and a proven track record in driving VAR relationships.
  • You understand partner business priorities and can find opportunities to bring value for Partners, Customers, and DataRobot.
  • You have enterprise software and consultative selling capabilities at C-level in Partner and Customer environments.
  • You have good organizational skills, capable of handling tactical items while never losing sight of longer-term strategic goals.
  • You are highly driven, energetic, confident, self-sufficient, self- motivated, and committed to success with a strong work ethic.
