We are transforming and accelerating clinical trials, to help get life-saving treatments to patients faster and accelerate innovation in healthcare. To that end, we build a cutting-edge software suite that connects all clinical research stakeholders, from research teams to treating physicians, patients, and study sponsors on a real-time, real-world data SaaS platform, powered by AI.
We are seeking an intern to join our Search team as a Data Analyst. An internship at Deep6 offers impactful, project-based work in a collaborative and innovative environment where you'll be given the opportunity to deliver meaningful improvements to the Deep6 application. As a member of the Search team, you'll be given access to one of the largest sources of unstructured clinical data and provided the opportunity to extract meaningful insights that support our goals of continuously enriching the user experience and improving the precision and speed of our matches.
What You'll Do:
Help ensure that we precisely and efficiently guide our customers to the information they are seeking
Analyze user feedback data for insights into patterns and root causes of false positive assessments
Analyze and assess inefficiencies and bottlenecks in query execution
Contribute to improvement of proprietary match ranking model
Fully remote accessible

Must be 18 years old at start of internship
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be a graduate student or a rising senior undergraduate student
Ideal candidates possess a background in at least 1 of: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, MIS, Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics, Information Retrieval, Bioinformatics
Must have 8-10 weeks available between the beginning of June and the end of August 2023
Must be available to work 30 hours/week during the entirety of the program
Experience in Python
$16 - $18 an hour
