PandoLogic is looking for an experienced Head of Payroll to join our Finance team, reporting to our VP of Finance, IL & EMEA.

The Role -

As the Head of Payroll for the EMEA & APAC regions, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage payroll operations for multiple countries within these regions. You will work closely with HR, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with local laws and regulations.

This is a hybrid position based in Herzliya.

What will you do?

 Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices across EMEA and APAC regions.
 Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple countries, including salary calculations, benefits, deductions, and tax compliance in accordance with local country requirements.
 Collaborate with local payroll providers or internal payroll teams to ensure data accuracy and resolve any payroll-related issues.
 Oversee the administration of payroll systems and software, ensuring they are up-to-date and optimized for efficiency.
 Stay up to date on all relevant local payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements in countries across EMEA and APAC.
 Ensure payroll processes comply with local labor and tax laws, social security regulations, and other statutory requirements.
 Coordinate with legal and tax advisors to address any compliance issues or changes in legislation.
 Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to gather and validate payroll inputs, resolve payroll discrepancies, and address employee inquiries.
 Communicate effectively with internal, external, and third-party payroll providers.
 Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes, leveraging technology and system enhancements.
 Analyze payroll data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
 Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall payroll service quality.
 Support other accounting and finance-related projects as needed.

What should you bring?

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven experience in managing payroll operations, preferably in a multinational organization supporting EMEA and APAC regions.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across multiple countries within EMEA and APAC.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to details.
  • Fluent in English, and other languages – a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Payroll operations, including regulations, taxes, and related systems (experience with Workday, ADP preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, making things happen, proactive, fast learner, and self- motivated.
