The Role:
The Healthcare Data Analyst will conduct independent analysis of clinical
data, reimbursement models, under minimal supervision and guidance, through
use of public databases to develop novel features for existing analyses and
reports that support the establishment of value for new products, services,
and payor strategy.
Develop documentation and create and execute work plans for analyses of
high to moderate complexity in partnership with internal/ external
stakeholders.
Interact with internal customers to define reporting needs and report
specifications
Perform financial analyses and modeling to support new contract growth,
term changes/renewals for hospitals and IDNs
Extract, clean, analyze and summarize data from various databases for
reporting needs (i.e. Tableau, Salesforce,MedPar, HCUP, Definitive,
etc).
Provide network contract financial results to downstream pricing team for
premium pricing opportunities
Analyze and interpret healthcare utilization and financial data to address
business questions regarding population health management, health and
economic outcomes, quality of healthcare, and product design.
Additionally, the Data Analyst will:
Works collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, such as clinical,
operations, finance, and leadership to develop actionable insights
regarding market and performance trends.
Examine and verify data contained in an internal and external analytics
platform to develop customer generated reports.
Supervise and assist with the completion of provider-specific dashboards
and reporting for all network physicians and practices.
Develops and presents data and analytics to external stakeholders such as
providers, health plans, and other customers to explain the total cost of
care analyses, cost trends, and key cost of care levers
Analyzes effectiveness of clinical interventions and cost of care
initiatives and collaborates with clinical and operations teams to
implement improvement opportunities
Partners closely with clinical research to support economic impact
analysis of RWE.

Your Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a focus on health sciences, statistics, math, or a
related field highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in health care data interpretation,
analysis, and reporting.
Requires advanced proficiency in MS Office, esp. Excel and Access, Unix,
SQL/PL-SQL, SAS, Tableau, and/or other relational databases and
visualization software with minimal supervision and support
Experience using statistical methods to evaluate healthcare claims data
and experience with reporting tools strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range
displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new
hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors,
including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Salary Range: $98,000 - $120,000
