As an HR Coordinator, you will be supporting benefits administration, employee engagement, and owning office management. This role will act as the main point of contact for employee requests and questions, as well as oversee all administrative duties in our SF office. This role is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in our SF office and reports directly to the HR Director.

 Support benefit administration of plans including, medical, vision, dental, HSA, FSA, 401k, workers comp and leave of absences for US, Canadian and EU employees
 Support seamless onboarding and offboarding processes including background checks, new hire orientation and documentation, I-9 verification, training, exit interviews, etc.
 Oversee and maintain office equipment, identify and fulfill office supply needs, maintain and manage vendors, and coordinate food delivery as needed
 Create a positive employee experiences by facilitating in person and virtual events
 Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
 Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
 Collaborate with the larger People Org to improve people programs, services, and systems
 Take on special projects and assist with ad-hoc responsibilities on an as needed basis
 Bachelor's degree or HR Certification
 Prior experience in HR as intern or coordinator with exposure to benefit administration
 Knowledge of HRIS platforms, including systems related to benefits and payroll
 Basic understanding of employment-related laws and regulations
 Must possess strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet competing deadlines
 Innate ability to take full ownership and follow-through/completion of all tasks while working independently with minimal supervision
 Must be self-directed and highly detail oriented with a strong aptitude in problem solving
 Team player who is comfortable with interacting with staff at all levels of the organization
 Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
 Ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment
