Inventory Manager

Reports To VP, Supply Chain

The Job

We're looking for an experienced Inventory Manager responsible for the accurate inventory of all incoming and outgoing products and supplies. You will work with the purchasing, procurement, and accounting teams to maximize efficiencies and incorporate best supply chain practices to minimize inventory loss.

Why is this role important to Core Scientific?

As a member of the Supply Chain Team, you will act as a strong business partner for all inventory control needs and goals for multiple business units within Core. You will participate in project planning meetings, sourcing requirement gathering efforts, as well as vendor relationship management. Successful candidates for this role will exhibit a strong customer orientation while owning and delivering on all facets of world class purchasing delivery and support. This role demands a thorough understanding of general inventory management practices with a strong acumen for ERP workflows, internal financial controls, and sense of teamwork and tenacity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory of supply and products
  • Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • ERP Inventory (NetSuite experience, preferred)
  • Associate's degree in business or related field, required
  • 5+ years of experience in an inventory role
  • CPIM certification, preferred
  • Able to use a computer and other office technology
  • Knowledgeable of inventory software
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands; and lift up to 50 pounds.

    Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position. You may be expected to work some weekends and after hours as work requires.
