Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with prior customer-facing experience as well as
knowledge of the data needs of speech, NLP, computer vision or other AI
applications.
The candidate will be participating in the proposal lifecycle of data
collection, annotation and evaluation projects, and will be gathering
requirements from our clients and collaborating with technical and non-
technical stakeholders to propose solutions and develop effort estimates.
These solutions will involve the Defined.ai platform, datasets and tools, as
well as 3rd party resources available.
This position will be integrated into the Pre-Sales Team and will support the
pre-sales process by participating in client meetings as a technical expert,
assisting in the identification and elaboration of solutions that fulfill our
customer needs. Through deep product and industry knowledge, the candidate
will be expected to provide trusted expertise and vision both internally and
with our customers.
What you will do?
Support pre-sales effort for data collection, annotation and evaluation
projects, as well as end-to-end solutions.
Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges and provide
appropriate solutions.
Translate client use cases into data requirements and AI solutions.
Stay up to date on market trends and competitive insights.
Setting up costing / pricing for the proposed solutions.
Support the sales team in closing deals by gaining the clients trust with
your deep knowledge and clear solutions.
Be the creator and owner of the Solution Architecture document and related
artifacts.
Suggest improvements to the Defined.ai product lines based on your
insights, client requests and feedback.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant roles.
Degree in AI-related fields (Speech Recognition, Computer Vision,
Robotics, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, ...) or Data
(Data Engineers).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English is
a must).
Ability to work in a collaborative environment in different time zones and
out of working hours when needed.
Ability to critically analyze and focus on problem solving.
Hands-on, technically strong, commitment to quality delivery and sense of
ownership.
Familiarity with scripting languages (python, R), database systems
(SQL, NoSQL) and distributed data platforms.
Have an understanding of ASR, NLU, TTS or Computer Vision.
