What will you be doing at DeepL?

We are looking for a creative, analytical, collaborative product marketer to join our fast-growing team. As the Product Marketing Manager for our Core product – the Translator - you will dive deep into consumer insights, help drive product strategy, and lead go-to-market efforts with the goal of ensuring the best translation experience for our users and increase DeepL Translator adoption and growth. The ideal candidate will enjoy working cross- functionally and be motivated by delivering on product adoption results.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies that drive adoption and growth of the DeepL Translator
  • Lead go-to-market planning and launches for DeepL Translator features
  • Act as a key partner to product, design and research teams in defining roadmaps, market sizes, and user needs and to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives
  • Support product teams in driving experiments to improve the Translator page - DeepL's main page!
  • Drive user acquisition, activation, retention of the Translator
  • Partner with Content and Marketing teams to create Sales and Support enablement materials

  • Strong experience of marketing with some time spent focussing on product marketing, with technology and/or start-up experience

  • Experience managing a product during it's lifecycle - from acquisition of new users, to retention and growth
  • Creative story teller with excellent communication, presentation, organization and writing skills
  • Growth mindset with a results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating)
  • Strength in analytics, critical thinking, and reasoned judgment
  • Combination of strategic thinking and the ability to roll up sleeves and get things done
