What will you be doing at DeepL?
As a member of the Sales Enablement team, your primary responsibility will be
to enable the sales team in Japan and provide support for innovative global
Sales Enablement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with
Marketing colleagues on content creation and updates. While your focus will be
on the Japan market, you will be part of a rapidly expanding global team.
Additionally, you will assist with onboarding new customer-facing colleagues
as they join the team in Japan.

Your responsibilities
As a part of the multifunctional B2B Demand Gen team, working closely with
including Design, Copywriting, Product Marketing, and Sales Enablement,
exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure
the sales team is kept up-to-date with the latest product, service, and
company messaging information through your efforts.
You have the ability to independently investigate and comprehend
commercial insights and sales enablement programs to work closely with
Sales Enablement and the local Sales team owning content creation and
updates as well as identifying and supporting with the creation process of
case studies in the region of Japan.
As an enthusiastic trainer with a sense for crafting value-based sales
messages tailored to meet the needs of business audiences in Japan, you
will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs and
materials that empower customer-facing teams with the tools they require
to sell with success.
You will work self-reliantly and in cooperation with the Sales team lead
in Japan.

You are fluent in English and Japanese (English is the company's business
language)
You are a passionate trainer with the ability to create value-driven sales
messages relevant to business audiences in Japan.
You have gained experience in developing and delivering training programs
and content to equip customer-facing teams with the necessary skills and
knowledge to sell effectively (with a focus on the market in Japan).
You bring knowledge of sales enablement technology and tools such as
content management systems, customer relationship management systems
(preferably Salesforce), sales enablement platforms, and learning
management systems.
You have strong cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills to
work with Marketing, Design, Content, and Knowledge Management to ensure
that sales teams have access to the latest product, service, and company
information
You bring the ability to provide advice and support as a direct report to
Sales Enablement, working with the local team to implement a centralized
strategy and improve sales performance.
You have exceptional self-organization skills, including strong project
management and effective asynchronous communication capabilities.
