What You'll Do...

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Claims Decisions App team, your technical knowledge and autonomy is key to build complete designs for our applications and features. Our product you will collaborate on is a platform that helps policyholders to open claims and insurers to take decisions on them.

You will contribute to a UI to collect and review information, to APIs that automates decision making and build to corresponding frameworks.

Performance, scalability and quality are key challenges to solve in order to deliver and review code. You are part of a team and collaborate with your teammates (software engineers, data scientists, QA, UX, product managers) to constantly receive and give feedback and improve the agile development process.

We work with modern technologies and always encourage our team to explore what's new in the market. Our main tools are:

  • .NET, C# in the Backend, written with Rider (or Visual Studio + Resharper)
  • React/Redux/ES6/LESS in the Frontend, written with Visual Studio Code
  • Webpack
  • A continuous delivery pipeline that uses Git, Nunit, Teamcity and Octopus Deploy
  • What You Bring...

  • At least 7 years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years strong backend expertise in .NET
  • Experiencing implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Building and maintaining on Kubernetes, dockers
  • Experience working on microservices
  • Some Frontend knowledge with any JS framework (ideally React)
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps environments
  • You are proactive and take ownership of your work.
  • You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, QA, product managers and other teams to build high-quality products through the software development lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
  • You are dynamic, curious and eager to learn, always looking to expand your fields of expertise.
  • You often come up with new ideas to solve complex problems .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven Fluency in English
