Applying new AI techniques to the challenges our customers face

October 23, 2022

I love to work on cutting-edge R&D that brings about positive changes in the world. Having to find a brand-new solution to a problem and proving that it works is something I find incredibly rewarding. These blend R&D activities with the practical impact of new products, but also bring a dynamic environment to work in. As part of that, I won several rail industry innovation awards and was recognised with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the innovation category. I’m really excited to see how we can apply new AI techniques to the challenges that our rail customers face, not just in maintenance activities, but also in timetabling, and other network-level operations.
